Protecting Public Health in Small Water Systems -- An International Colloquium

The purpose of the colloquium was to explore 1) health threats in small water systems; and 2) how different developed nations approach the provision of safe water by small systems, and the successes and shortcomings they have experienced.  The ultimate goal was to help inform decision-making and policy formulation in the United States and other developed nations.

7th International Symposium on Fish Physiology, Toxicology and Water Quality

The symposium convened on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Tallinn, Estonia. It was a great success; scientists and students from 15 nations gathered to discuss current work related to eutrophication and hypoxia, as they affect both freshwater and marine fishes.
